New Look

Finally got around to tweaking this template again… It’s still not a finished thing, but I think it’s much sharper (especially in Firefox).

I’ve been pretty lax bout posting here lately, but I’ve been way to busy to post regularly. I’ll update more at some point this weekend.

Technorati tags and WordPress themes

Just discovered something rather interesting. If you are using Technorati tags, make sure your WP theme includes the rss links in the header. This will make sure any tags you've specified will get picked up by their bot and, as a nice bonus, will allow the "Live Bookmarks" auto-discovery to work right in Firefox.

I’ve modified this template a bit and decided on a real name for my little part of the net: excentral. Meaning ‘Out of the center’, it’s a dead-on description of my life and the types of entries I’m likely to drop in here…

I’ve finally found a good base template to work from. It’s called Headspace and it’s based on the excellent Kubrick template. There’s quite a bit I want to do with this one (header graphic, css cleanups, etc) over the next few weeks, but I’m really digging this base.
