Ivan has moved far enough to the east of us to spare us the brunt of the bad weather. So far the hardest gust we’ve seen is 38 mph, a far cry from the 90 mph forecast earlier… There might be some stronger gusts in the wee hours of the morning, but nothing worth staying [...]

The weather has certainly gotten worse, but it’s not anything serious… Yet. We’ve been watching this tree hoping when it breaks it will fall out into the cul-de-sac, however I feel pretty sure it’s gonna take the power and cable with it when it goes… Madden till the power goes out!

According to the latest warnings, we are looking “WIND SPEEDS OF 75 TO 85 WITH PEAK GUSTS TO NEAR 100 MPH” and flash flooding… Is it a bird? A plane? Or maybe a submarine?

Title bout says it all… Getting 10-20 mph gusts right now which is pretty weak, but we are looking at 40-50 overnight and 50-70 tomorrow with possible 90 mph gusts. Should be a pretty interesting time…

Ivan is close, and it’s really obvious… The sky is all cloudy and things are eerily quiet. They are now calling for 50-70 mph winds here tomorrow, but it really all just depends on where the damn thing hits land. I’ve setup a gallery and added some ‘before’ pictures. You can see it here, and [...]
